
Siti Noor Iasah Mohamad Ariffin grabbed Malaysia’s second medal at the ongoing INAS Global Games in Brisbane.
The Johorean won a bronze medal in the women’s 400m T20 Class with a time of 59.76s.
Earlier, Siti had won Heat 4 in a time of 1:01.09 to qualify for the semi-finals. In the semi-finals she had clocked 1:00.96 to be best qualifier going into the final.
While she continued to improve her time, it was Indonesian Sesa Elvin who clinched the gold in 59.58 ahead of Japan’s Aimi Toyoma.

Zulkifly Abdullah had given Malaysia their first medal, a gold in the long jump T20 event.
The Kedahan soared to a personal best of 6.84m to improve on the 6.55m he did at the Asian Para Games in Jakarta last year.
Zulkifly made a 6.54m jump in the heats to qualify ahead of his rivals. Chala Espinazo Robe of Equador took the silver in 6.67m while Kanta Kokubo of Japan the bronze with a 6.49m effort.

Missed out on the finals after finishing 10th overall in the Heats. He was sixth fastest in Heat 3 in a time of 2:05.27.
Nani Shahiera binti Zawawi (Women Long Jump T20)
