Malaysia’s Shahul Hameed Al Barilan is through to the last 16 of the World Teqball Championships in Budapest.
Sahul topped Group H that included eight seeded Natalia Guitler of Brazil to qualify for the knockout stages.
The Malaysian won all his games in the group including a 20-16 win over Natalia. The singles and doubles competition at the world championships is open to both genders. Natalia is one of the most prominent female teqball players in the world.
Shahul will be up against Algerian Fetih Larit in the last 16. Fetih topped Group H to qualify for the last 16.
The Malaysian doubles pair Muhammad Fauzan- Muhammad Eizlan Rakhli, however, failed to get past the group stage.
